Are these Buildings ? No, they are Art

"Architecture is a visual art, and the buildings speak for themselves." by Julia Morgan

Every country in the world has its own unique architecture for its buildings, that is defined by its culture and the environment it resides in.  If you look closely, you can find the beauty or something that speaks to you about each structure. That's probably why artists like to interpret them in their work so often.

Prague

Prague is a very old city in the Czech Republic. The architecture in the old city has an almost fairytale quality to it. Red roofs adorn the landscape and the Charles Bridge is a gateway to buildings that make you stop to appreciate their colours and detail.

Here are two works that I created to show how I feel about Prague.

Celtic Whimsy

This reminded me of a simple life. So I painted the shapes simply but with bold colours. I wanted my background to be mysterious so you would wonder what lies beyond the scene.
