Daffodowndilly

 Daffodils are one of the first flowers that come up in our garden each spring. I look forward to their tiny green leaves pushing up from the winter ground to burst forth to the sun.

A poem 'Daffodowndilly" by A.A. Milne expresses how I feel about the flowers that bloom in the spring.

She wore her yellow sun-bonnet,
She wore her greenest gown;
She turned to the south wind
And curtsied up and down.
She turned to the sunlight
And shook her yellow head,
And whispered to her neighbour:

"Winter is dead."

Here are some spring flowers from my garden. Enjoy.
